Lash Extension Courses in London. Train in a Real East London Salon
Sep 29, 2026
If you're searching for a lash extension course in London, you're probably looking at a lot of options right now. Online courses, in-person courses, accredited, non-accredited, £79, £300, £500, and every provider telling you theirs is the one you need.
Here's what we're not going to do: tell you House of Lashè is the only place you should train. We're not the only good option in London. But we are the only place that trains inside a real, working lash studio and that difference matters more than you might think.
Why Learn Lashes?
Let's be practical about this. The lash industry is one of the few trades where you can learn a skill in weeks, startearning within months, and build a career that fits around your life, not the other way around.
- Flexible income - lash artists charge £40-£80+ per client. Five clients a day is £200-£400.
- Be your own boss - work from home, rent a room, go mobile, or open your own studio. You decide.
- Low start-up cost - a lash kit and training costs less than most other beauty qualifications.
- No previous experience needed - you don't need a beauty background. You need good hands, patience, and a willingness to learn.
- Real demand - lash extensions are one of the most-searched beauty services in London. People are looking for lash artists every single day.
Which Lash Course Is Right for You?
Not everyone needs the same thing. Some people want to learn the basics and decide if lashes are for them. Others want full accreditation and a career path. Here's how our training works:
Complete Beginners → Start with Beginner Lash Training (£79)
This is our online, self-paced foundation course. 10 modules of video lessons, quizzes, and knowledge checks. You learn lash theory, natural lash anatomy, growth cycles, classic and volume techniques, styling, mapping, hygiene, contraindications, client care, and professional standards.
You can start today from your phone. No kit needed, no experience needed, no pressure. If you decide lashes aren't for you, you've spent £79. If they are, you've got the foundation to build on.
Want Practical Training → Studio Practice
Once you've completed the online foundation, you can book Studio Practice sessions at our Walthamstow salon. This is where you work on real models under supervision, in a real lash studio, with real products. You don't get this from an online-only provider.
Want Accreditation → Professional Assessment
When you're ready, you book a Professional Assessment. This is where you demonstrate your technique and get assessed for accreditation. It's a separate stage with a separate cost, you only do it when you're confident and ready.
Already Trained? → Masterclasses & Mentorship
If you're already a lash artist looking to level up, we offer masterclasses in retention and styling, plus 1:1 mentorship with Davina. These are for artists who want to fix specific problems or push their skills further.
What Makes House of Lashè Different?
Most lash courses in the UK are one of two things: online-only training companies that teach theory through pre-recorded videos, or short in-person courses held in rented hotel rooms or conference spaces.
House of Lashè is neither.
We're a real lash studio on Walthamstow High Street. We see clients five days a week. We deal with real lash problems, retention issues, allergic reactions, tricky natural lash patterns, every single day. That experience is built into how we train.
You train inside a working salon. Not a classroom. Not a hotel conference room. A real studio with real clients, real lash beds, and real products. You see what the job actually looks like day to day.
11 years of real experience. Davina started lashing in her bedroom in 2015. She built a salon, an academy, and a team from scratch. Everything she learned — the stuff that took years of trial and error, is in the training.
A pay-as-you-go pathway. You don't pay £500 upfront for a course you might not finish. You start with £79. If you want to continue, you book the next stage. If you don't, you stop. No pressure, no sunk cost.
Founder-led. You're not being trained by a faceless company. You're learning from someone who's done exactly what you're trying to do.

Most in-person London courses run £200-£500 for a single weekend. Some charge £800+ for a full qualification.
Our approach is different on purpose. We want you to try it first. £79 to find out if you actually enjoy lashes and have the patience for the work is a lot better than £500 to find out you don't.
Do I Need Any Experience?
No. Beginner Lash Training was built for people who have never touched a pair of lash tweezers.
We don't expect you to know the terminology, the techniques, or the industry. We start from the very beginning: what natural lashes are, how they grow, what you can and can't safely apply to them. By the end of the foundation course, you'll understand the theory behind classic and volume lashes, how to style and map a set, and what professional standards look like.
The practical part, actually putting extensions on someone's lashes, comes later, in Studio Practice, when you're ready to work with your hands.
Is the Course Accredited?
Yes. House of Lashè training is accredited, which means:
- Your qualification is recognised by beauty industry insurance providers
- You can get professional indemnity insurance once accredited
- Your certificate carries weight with salons and clients
- You meet the standards expected of a professional lash artist in the UK
The accreditation pathway is: Beginner Lash Training → Studio Practice → Professional Assessment → House of Lashè Accreditation. You don't need to do it all at once. You do it at your pace.
Can I Learn Lashes Online?
Yes, the theory and knowledge side of lash training is well-suited to online learning. You need to understand lash anatomy, growth cycles, styling principles, mapping, hygiene, contraindications, and client care before you ever pick up tweezers. That's what Beginner Lash Training covers.
What you can't learn online is the feel of it, the hand pressure, the isolation technique, the speed. That's why we separate the online foundation from the in-person practice. You learn the "why" online, then you learn the "how" in the salon.
This is where online-only training providers fall short. They can teach you the theory. They can't watch you lash and tell you what you're doing wrong. We can.
What Comes After the Course?
Training is the start, not the end. Here's where lashes can take you:
- Work in a salon - as a junior or resident lash artist, building your client base
- Rent a chair or room - many salons rent space to self-employed lash artists
- Go mobile - visit clients in their homes, popular with busy professionals
- Open your own studio - like Davina did, starting from a bedroom and building up
- Specialise - in volume, mega volume, lash lifts, or brow treatments
- Train others - experienced artists can move into education and mentorship
We support our graduates beyond the course. Through masterclasses, 1:1 mentorship, and ongoing support, we help you get from "qualified" to "fully booked."

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need experience to learn lashes?
No. Beginner Lash Training is designed for complete beginners. You don't need any beauty background or previous training. We start from the very basics.
How much does a lash course cost in London?
At House of Lashè, training starts at £79 for the online Beginner Lash Training course. Practical studio sessions and accreditation are booked separately, so you only pay for the next stage when you're ready to continue. Other London providers charge £200-£500+ for weekend courses.
Are online lash courses any good?
Online courses are excellent for learning theory, lash anatomy, styling, mapping, hygiene, and client care. What they can't teach you is the physical technique of applying extensions. That's why we offer online foundations followed by in-person studio practice. The combination gives you both the knowledge and the hands-on skills.
How long does it take to become a lash artist?
Beginner Lash Training is self-paced, most people complete it in 1-2 weeks alongside work or college. The full accreditation pathway (online foundation + studio practice + assessment) takes longer and depends on how quickly you book your practical sessions.
Can I get a lash qualification in London?
Yes. House of Lashè offers accredited training with a clear pathway from beginner to certified lash artist. Once accredited, you can get professional insurance and work in salons or independently.
Is lash training worth it?
Lash artists typically charge £40-£80+ per client. With 5 clients a day, that's £200-£400 in daily revenue. The £79 starting cost is low-risk, you can find out if lashes are right for you before investing in the full accreditation pathway.
Can I learn lashes if I work full time?
Yes. Beginner Lash Training is online and self-paced. You can learn around your schedule, pause, rewind, rewatch, and take notes at your own speed. The practical stages come later, and you book those when you're ready.
