Lash Extensions in London. Where East London Gets Its Lashes Done

Oct 06, 2026
Lash technician applying individual lash extensions at House of Lashè, London
If you've searched "lash extensions london" you already know the problem. There are hundreds of studios, dozens of booking platforms, and about ten different price points, and none of them tell you whether the person holding the tweezers actually knows what they're doing.

So let's cut through it.

House of Lashè is a lash studio and training academy on Walthamstow High Street, East London. We've been doing lashes for over 11 years. We've completed over 3,000 custom lash sets. We have a 4.8★ rating from 100+ reviews. And we offer same-day appointments because we know most people don't plan their lash bookings three weeks in advance.

Here's everything you need to know before you book.

Why East London?

Central London has lash bars on every corner. East London has fewer, but the ones that are here tend to be real studios run by real lash artists, not chain salons with rotating staff.

House of Lashè is based at 16 High Street, Walthamstow, E17 7LD. It's a 5-minute walk from Walthamstow Central station on the Victoria Line. You can be from Oxford Circus to our door in under 20 minutes.

We chose Walthamstow deliberately. It's a real high street with real people, not a tourist strip with inflated prices. Our clients come from Canary Wharf, Chigwell, Buckhurst Hill, and everywhere in between, because the lashes are good and the prices aren't padded with Zone 1 rent.

Types of Lash Extensions We Offer

Every set of lashes is custom. We don't do "one style suits all" because it doesn't. Here's what we offer and who each style is for.

Classic Lashes

One extension applied to each natural lash. The result is a natural, defined look, like your lashes but better. If you want people to notice you look good but not quite know why, classic is the one.

From £50

Hybrid Lashes

A mix of classic and volume techniques. Some lashes get individual extensions, others get lightweight fans of 2-3 extensions. The result is more fullness than classic but still natural. Good if you want a bit of drama without going full volume.

Russian Volume Lashes

Multiple ultra-fine extensions applied to each natural lash in a fan shape. This is the full, dramatic, "I'm not wearing mascara but it looks like I am" look. Volume lashes are lighter per extension than classic, so the weight on your natural lash is the same, it just looks fuller.

Wispy & Fox Eye Lashes

Trending styles that use a mix of lengths to create a textured, spiky finish (wispy) or an elongated, lifted outer corner (fox eye). These are style-led sets for people who want a specific look, not just "more lashes."

Natural Lashes

Subtle enhancement. We use fine extensions and minimal length increase to give you a polished look that reads as "naturally yours." Popular with clients who work in corporate environments or just want to wake up looking put-together without obvious extensions.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

Before: We do a consultation, your natural lashes, what look you want, any sensitivities or allergies. If it's your first time, we'll patch test the adhesive 48 hours before your appointment.

During: You lie down, close your eyes, and we do the work. A full set takes 90-120 minutes. Infills take 45-60 minutes. Most people fall asleep. That's fine, we prefer it.

After: You'll see the full result immediately. We'll talk you through aftercare (keep them dry for 24 hours, brush daily, avoid oil-based products near your eyes). You can book your infill before you leave, lash extensions last 2-3 weeks before they need topping up.

Lash Aftercare - Making Them Last

Lash extensions shed with your natural lashes, which follow a 6-8 week growth cycle. You'll lose roughly a third of your extensions every 2-3 weeks, which is why infills are recommended at that interval.

Here's how to get the most out of your set:

  • Keep them dry for the first 24 hours, the adhesive needs time to cure fully

  • Brush daily with a clean spoolie to keep them neat

  • Avoid oil-based skincare and makeup remover around the eye area, oil breaks down lash adhesive

  • Don't rub your eyes, be gentle

  • Use lash shampoo, we sell aftercare kits and cleansing brushes designed specifically for extension maintenance
  • Book infills every 2-3 weeks, waiting longer means more lashes have shed and you're closer to needing a full set again

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do lash extensions last?Lash extensions last 2-3 weeks before you need infills. A full set lasts 4-6 weeks with proper maintenance, but you'll notice gaps after 2-3 weeks as your natural lashes shed.

Are lash extensions safe? Yes, when applied by a trained professional using quality adhesive and appropriate weight extensions. At House of Lashè, we assess your natural lash health before applying anything and won't apply extensions that are too heavy or long for your natural lashes.

How much are lash extensions in London? Prices range from £35 at chain salons to £150+ at premium studios. At House of Lashè, classic lashes start from £50 and volume sets from £60. Our Academy Talent tier offers lower rates for clients happy to be lashed by supervised trainees.

Can I get lash extensions same day?Yes. House of Lashè offers same-day appointments when slots are available. Check our  Fresha booking page  for live availability.

What's the difference between classic and volume lashes?Classic lashes use one extension per natural lash for a defined but natural look. Volume lashes use multiple ultra-fine extensions per natural lash, creating a fuller, more dramatic result. Both are safe, volume extensions are lighter per strand so the total weight on your natural lash is the same.

Do lash extensions damage your natural lashes? No, when applied correctly by a trained artist and maintained properly. Damage happens when extensions are too heavy, too long, or applied with poor technique. We only apply what your natural lashes can safely support.
